So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Shirley was the sweetest & most kind lady we have ever known. She made the BEST cookies ever. One Sunday your dad called & ask us to bring Tammy & Adam out to go for a sleigh ride. It was wonderful. And oh the cookies & hot chocolate. Memories were made that day for sure. Your dad put Tammy & Adams picture on his business card. Made us proud. Again she will be truly missed. May God Bless!

So sorry for your lost. I can remember you talking about your Mom. Such a special lady. She will be missed by her family and friends. To be missed only means she was loved. Heaven is richer now and she is full of joy.
So sorry for your loss, Kenny and Shirley were special people. I am not a native to Avon but when I became involved with the Businessmen s Assoc. they welcomed me. I offered to help with the horse show they very patient with my lack of knowledge of how things were done. Both your parents would stop in a talk with me at the quilt shop often. They were both pillars in this small community.
So sorry for your loss. They lived in the house directly across from us, on Ellisville blacktop. We lived on hatch Rd. Good neighbors.
My love and deep sympathy to all of Shirley's family. Although thankful for the reality of heaven and eternal life for Shirley I feel a sense if loss. Kenny and Shirley played an important part in my teenage years. I appreciate their trusting me to babysit their children. Shirley was always kind, encouraging and I was blessed to "see Christ in her, the hope of glory".
Our deepest condolences to Shirley's family. She was a great lady and neighbor. My mother, Virginia, and she loved to talk shop about their flower gardens, exchanging seeds, plants and growing strategies; and laughing. Her visits were always joyful. We are very sorry for your loss.
