Dorothy May Thompson, 89 of Roseville, IL passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center Monmouth, IL. She was born Wednesday May 30, 1928, in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Enos and Mamie (Carlson) Talley. She married Leon Thompson on September 12, 1948, he preceded her in death on June 5, 2000.

I always enjoyed talking to Dorothy on the telephone. She was always cheerful and interested in what was happening in Roseville. She will be missed by many people. My sympathy goes to her family. She loved her family and neighbors. GOD bless Janelle Cox
Dorothy was a wonderful lady who allowed me to sit on her porch swing with her many times. I will always miss her especially when I am staying in Roseville with my daughter. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Dorothy was a wise and warm woman. My dad was her cousin, and he thought so much of her. My mom had much affection for her as a friend, who she conversed with many days of the week. I appreciated our conversations and her thoughts and advice. Warm thoughts and condolences to all who loved her.
