So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Shaw. He was a very faithful and dedicated man, married for 43 years! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, "Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - firstname.lastname@example.org

I am so very sorry for your loss of such a awesome man! Always doing and helping others out! I so remember all the times he came down and helped my Dad out during the harvest season and other times during the year. Also when he came to help me out personally when we lived in the Windish place! I always enjoyed seeing him and having him raz me! I always left with a smile and warm feeling! I'm sure he and my Dad are up in heaven razzing each other! He will so be missed but I am glad he is no longer in pain or under the constraints of his failing body. Rest In Peace Roy! I will not be able to attend the funeral or visitation as I am in Louisville, KY working those days. Please know how much I so wanted to be there to honor such a great man and give you all hugs for you all mean so much to me! With love, Susan McGrew Carnes
